Facial Mists are the new big thing in the Korean skin care regimen. When I first saw this product, I was a bit skeptical because I thought it's going to make my face look oily and super shiny. After trying it out, it literally became my obsession.

The spray is very lightweight and it does not make your face wet and shiny, so you don't need to worry about your makeup. I was surprised how hydrating and soothing the mist is. My skin instantly felt smoother.

I also discovered that mists are really great for travelling (yay for travelling size packaging with less than 100ml). I brought it on a 11 hour flight and while usually my skin is dehydrated and flaky, this time it wasn't at all. Since the spray contains organic olive oil, your skin gets nourished with antioxidants with every spray (or at least that's what it says on the packaging :-) anyway it helps a lot!!)

  1. Packaging: The Innisfree Olive Oil Mist comes in an 80ml glass bottle with a sprayer (just like your handy body sprays). The spray is easy to carry and super convenient for travelling.
  2. Effectiveness: A few spritzes refresh, hydrate and smooth your skin on the go. You can use the spray as your moisturizer, makeup base or mix it with your foundation so it does not dry your face out. The spray can even be used in hot and humid weather as it revives dull and tired looking skin.
  3. Texture: Not too thick, yet not too thin. You can see the oil in the surface but when you shake the bottle, it becomes homogenous. It feels very light on the skin.
  4. Scent: It smells great! Refreshing, fresh, with a citrus scent.

If you are a fan of facial mists or just want to try one out, the Innisfree Olive Oil Mist is worth it. I find it very easy and convenient for a quick mid-day fresh up or when travelling. For me it has become a real essential!
